About the Program

Are you fascinated by how language is acquired or how experts evaluate and treat language disorders? Speech & Language Sciences explores how language is learned, processed and used. In this program, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of linguistics and its relation to language disorders while learning the process of diagnosis and treatment of speech, language and communication disorders. The program combines theory with applied learning, helping you build skills in analysis, research and communication. You’ll also learn how professionals diagnose and support individuals with communication challenges. If you’reinterested in language, health or helping professions, this program provides a strong foundation for graduate study and careers in fields like speech-language pathology and audiology.
