Applied Learning Opportunities
Children, Childhood & Youth offers hands-on learning through classroom and community-based experiences. You’ll work directly with young people in local and global contexts, gaining practical insight into real-world issues affecting children and youth. In your fourth-year honours research project, you have the chance to lead research in collaboration with young people in the Toronto community, building strong research, communication and engagement skills. Through experiential learning across courses, projects, optional paid co-op and course-based placements, you’ll apply theory in meaningful settings, develop career-ready skills and graduate prepared for roles in community, education and social sectors.
Recent grad Nawshin chats with us about her experience with the Career Centre and how she secured a full-time role within two months of graduating.
