Applied Learning Opportunities
History offers hands-on learning that brings the past to life. You can study abroad in courses held in locations such as Costa Rica, Greece, Germany and Spain, gaining global perspectives and experiencing history first-hand. Our public history courses provide on-site learning through field trips and placements at museums, archives and galleries, where you develop practical research and storytelling skills. Through optional paid co-op opportunities and experiential learning across your degree, you’ll apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, build strong research, analytical and communication skills, and graduate prepared for diverse careers such as law, education, business and government service.
Recent grad Nawshin chats with us about her experience with the Career Centre and how she secured a full-time role within two months of graduating.
