About the Program
Tell stories that captivate and inspire in Canada’s only undergraduate Screenwriting & Creative Producing degree program.
You'll be prepared for a career as a professional screenwriter, creative producer, showrunner, story editor and development executive in the film, television and media industries. You’ll develop a deep understanding of moving-image storytelling and learn how creative projects are conceived, written, developed, positioned and brought to audiences in a highly collaborative, workshop-based environment.
By graduation, you’ll have a strong portfolio of original writing and project-development work, experience in professional-level workshops and the creative, collaborative and entrepreneurial skills needed to succeed across film, television, streaming and digital storytelling.

Through small workshops led by industry professionals and master classes with renowned screenwriters, you’ll gain hands-on experience developing work for film, television, streaming and digital platforms. By graduation, you’ll have a strong portfolio of original work, experience in professional-level writing workshops, and the skills and confidence to pursue careers as a screenwriter, showrunner, story editor, producer and more.
