About the Program
Global Health is the study of improving health and advancing health equity for all people worldwide. As Canada’s first undergraduate program of its kind, York’s Global Health degree allows you to explore the world’s most pressing health challenges such as climate change, pandemics, and chronic diseases that transcend borders.
Build multidisciplinary knowledge, develop leadership skills, and deepen your understanding of health equity
Study topics such as global health policy, chronic and communicable diseases and care, health care ethics and human rights, anatomy and physiology, and more. Specialize your learning through one of our areas of concentration: Global eHealth, Global Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Global Health Law, Policy and Governance, Global Health and the Environment, or Global Mental Health.
