About the Program
Explore the histories, cultures and global impact of Africa and its diasporas in one of Canada’s longest-running African Studies programs. You’ll study topics ranging from African politics and economies to art, music and literature while gaining a deeper understanding of Africa’s role in shaping the world. This interdisciplinary program helps you build skills in research, communication and critical thinking. You’ll explore both historical and current issues and how African communities influence global conversations and agendas. If you’re interested in global perspectives, social change and culture, this program connects your studies to real-world issues.
