About the Program

Financial Technologies combines finance, economics and computing to prepare you for careers in the digital financial sector. Through a specially designed curriculum, you will explore diverse aspects of the financial technologies industry, from AI and machine learning, financial systems design and financial cryptography, mathematical finance, banking and payment systems to e-trading and portfolio management. The program builds skills in programming, data analysis and financial decision-making while deepening your understanding of how technology is transforming finance. Through applied learning and real-world projects, you’ll be prepared to work in areas like financial software development, data analytics or emerging financial technologies. If you’re interested in both technology and finance, this program offers a strong foundation for innovative careers.

                            Applied Learning Opportunities

                            Financial Technologies offers hands-on learning through applied projects and real-world case analysis. You’ll explore industry challenges in courses like Topics in Financial Technologies and build practical skills through a capstone project, where you design and present solutions to real business problems. Internship and optional paid co-op opportunities allow you to gain professional experience while reflecting on your development. Through experiential learning across your degree, you’ll apply technical and financial knowledge, develop problem-solving and teamwork skills, and graduate prepared for careers in the fast-growing fintech sector.
