About the Program
Business economics gives you the tools to understand the forces shaping our world. From business strategy and consumer behaviour to financial markets and public policy, you'll learn how economic decisions affect people, organizations and society. 
There's no better place to study business economics than at our globally minded campus located in Canada's economic capital. Here, you’ll learn from professors who have a global reach and a wide variety of specializations including macroeconomics, international trade, finance, immigration, public health and more.  You’ll leave prepared for a career in business, finance, consulting, government, and beyond, and can even increase your knowledge in a specific area by choosing one of the following specializations: accounting and finance, economics and public policy, or mathematical economics and economic theory.

Applied Learning Opportunities
Gain real-world experience, build marketable skills and apply theories learned in the classroom through Experiential Education at Glendon. Hands-on learning experiences include paid internships and professional placements focusing on finance, accounting, marketing, market research and more, as well as in-class projects. Students can also bring their business ideas to life through GENIAL (Glendon Entrepreneurship and International Innovation), Glendon's innovation incubator, where they can develop entrepreneurial projects or build practical skills through its 15-week Entrepreneurial Skills Passport Program. Thanks to the various practical opportunities offered throughout this degree, you'll graduate with a deeper knowledge of business economics and be better prepared for the job market.
